Nashua is the second-largest city in New Hampshire, on the Massachusetts border at the Merrimack and Nashua Rivers. We cover it from our Fremont yard.
All four roll-off sizes plus full-service junk removal — out of the Fremont yard.
Nashua is a city of about 90,000 with a working downtown along Main Street, the Mill Yard district along the Nashua River, and residential neighborhoods spreading out in every direction. The Daniel Webster Highway and the F.E. Everett Turnpike carry most of the commercial activity.
From our Fremont yard, Nashua is about 32 miles southwest.
All four roll-off sizes are available in Nashua: 10-yard for small projects and tight driveways, 15 for medium jobs, 20 for full-house cleanouts and roof tear-offs, and 30 for contractor and demo work. We also do full-service junk removal for cleanouts where you'd rather we handle the loading.
Downtown Nashua streets and the older neighborhoods nearby are tight, with short driveways and parked cars on both sides. The 10 or 15 is usually the right call there. Outer neighborhoods and the newer south side have more room.
Nashua runs from the older mill stock along Main Street and the Nashua River up to the newer subdivisions south of town, with I-93 just east and Route 101A and the Daniel Webster Highway carrying most of the daily traffic. Mine Falls Park sits between the river and the downtown blocks. The older residential streets near downtown and around the Mill Yard have shorter driveways and on-street parking, while the newer south side has roomy approaches and lots of placement room. Downtown placements take more thought, especially where parking and bike lanes are in play. If you're on one of the tighter blocks, send a photo and your address when you call so we can plan the drop window and pickup so the truck stays out of the neighborhood's way.
Common dumpster and junk-removal jobs in Nashua include kitchen and bath remodels, garage and basement cleanouts, and roof tear-offs on the older homes downtown and the newer ranches on the south side. Estate cleanouts come up when ownership changes hands, especially on the older mill stock and the homes that have been in families for a while. Shed, deck, and above-ground pool demos come up through the warmer months on the lots that have the yard space. For larger contractor jobs, like additions, renovations, or new builds in the south-side subdivisions, a 20-yard parked for the week is usually the right size. We also get single-item pickup calls, things like an old fridge, a hot-tub demo, or a couch the new one won't fit past.
Nashua is a longer drive from our Fremont yard than the Seacoast towns just east of us, but we run the same four sizes. For tight downtown driveways and older mill-stock streets, the 10-yard tends to be the right size. For a garage or basement cleanout on an average Nashua home, the 15-yard usually fits. The 20-yard handles full-house cleanouts and roof tear-offs, and the 30-yard is mostly for whole-house gut jobs, big additions, or roofs with multiple layers on the larger homes. Tell us what's coming out and we'll point you to the size that fits.
Will a roll-off fit on a downtown street? The 10-yard is the smallest box we run and it's the one we lean on for tight downtown driveways and older blocks. If you're on a narrow street with parking concerns, send a photo when you call and we'll walk through placement and timing with you.
Can you put the dumpster on the lawn? Usually yes. If you'd like boards under the wheels to protect the grass and the edge of the driveway, mention it when you call and we'll bring some.
Do you take appliances and old water heaters? Yes. Fridges and AC units have a small fee for the freon handling at the transfer station, and mattresses have a small per-item fee. What we can't take is wet paint, motor oil, asbestos, dirt or gravel, or organic wood and yard waste.
