Concord is New Hampshire's state capital, set along the Merrimack River with the golden dome of the State House anchoring downtown on Main Street. The Statehouse Plaza area is the civic core, and the surrounding blocks hold a mix of government offices, professional buildings, and older residential streets that step out into quieter neighborhoods as you move away from Main.
