Allenstown sits along the Suncook River and is best known for Bear Brook State Park, the largest developed state park in New Hampshire. We cover it from our Fremont yard, about 50 minutes out.
All four roll-off sizes plus full-service junk removal — out of the Fremont yard.
Allenstown sits south of Concord with the Suncook River running through and Bear Brook State Park taking up a big share of the town. The park is the largest developed state park in New Hampshire, and it shapes a lot of the town's character. Outside the park, Allenstown is residential with stretches of woods and the working river running through.
From Fremont, Allenstown is about 35 miles northwest, roughly 50 minutes via Route 101 and I-93.
All four roll-off sizes are available in Allenstown: 10-yard, 15, 20, and 30. We also do full-service junk removal when you'd rather not load a container yourself.
Most Allenstown driveways have room for any size we run. Send us a photo of the spot if you're unsure and we'll plan placement.
Allenstown's layout follows the Suncook River and the old mill housing tucked along it. The village center sits close to the river, with Route 28 and Route 3 carrying most of the through traffic. Outside the village, much of the town is woods and residential lots tucked up against Bear Brook State Park, which takes up a large share of the map. The older mill housing along the river is closer together and tighter for placement, while the lots further out toward the park edge tend to be roomier with long driveways and plenty of room for a roll-off. If you're on a tight street or a shared drive near the river, send a quick photo when you call so we can plan the drop ahead of time and keep the truck out of anyone's way.
Common dumpster and junk-removal jobs in Allenstown include garage and basement cleanouts, full-house cleanouts, and roof tear-offs. Estate cleanouts come up when ownership changes hands, especially on the older homes along the river and the mill housing in the village. Shed, deck, and above-ground pool demos come up through the warmer months. For larger contractor jobs, like additions, renovations, or new builds, a 20-yard parked for the week is usually the right size. We also get single-item pickup calls, things like an old fridge, a water heater, or a hot-tub demo, where a full container would be overkill and our junk-removal crew can just load it up and haul it off in one trip.
Allenstown is one of our longer NH stops from the Fremont yard, but we run the same four sizes. For a garage or basement cleanout, the 10 or 15-yard is usually the right size. For a full-house cleanout or a bigger remodel where you're pulling cabinets, flooring, and drywall, the 20-yard tends to be the right call. The 30-yard is mostly for whole-house gut jobs, big additions, or roofs with a lot of layers. If you're not sure, tell us what's coming out and we'll point you to a size that won't leave you paying for air or running out of room halfway through.
How long can I keep the dumpster? Standard rental is seven days. If you need an extra day or two, we can usually work that out. Anything longer and we'll need to talk about pickup timing so we can keep the box on the route.
Can you put the dumpster on the lawn? Usually yes. If you'd like boards under the wheels to protect the grass and the edge of the driveway, mention it when you call and we'll bring some.
Do you take appliances and old water heaters? Yes. Fridges and AC units have a small fee for the freon handling at the transfer station, and mattresses have a small per-item fee. What we can't take is wet paint, motor oil, asbestos, dirt or gravel, or organic wood and yard waste.
