Appliance Removal in Southern NH.

Old fridge replaced by a new one and now it's blocking the back door. Washer finally gave up. Water heater needs to go. We come pick it up and haul it.

What we haul.

Washers and dryers, dishwashers, stoves and ovens (gas and electric), refrigerators and freezers (full-size, mini, chest), microwaves, water heaters (electric or gas, tank or tankless), range hoods, garbage disposals if they're already disconnected, hot tubs and spas, dehumidifiers, window AC units, and similar household appliances. If you've got a half dozen of the small stuff plus one big item, group it all together and we'll quote the visit as one job.

Refrigerant items and the additional fee.

Refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, and window AC units all contain refrigerant. By federal rule, the refrigerant has to be recovered before the unit can be disposed of. The transfer station handles that step under their EPA certification. Refrigerant items carry a small additional disposal fee.

Hot tubs and pool equipment.

Hot tubs are doable. The question's almost always access: is it on a deck, is the deck above ground, can we get it through a gate, is it drained. Send a couple of photos with the call so we can talk through whether the tub needs to be cut down on site or can come out whole. Pool pumps, filters, heaters, ladders, and similar equipment fall under appliance pickup as well.

Scheduling a pickup.

For a single appliance, the visit's usually quick. You don't have to disconnect a fridge or move it to the curb (though if you have, that's fine). If the appliance is in a basement or upstairs, mention it on the call so the right crew size can be planned.

Pricing approach.

Single appliance pickup is quoted as a flat rate with the disposal cost built in. Larger or harder-access items (hot tubs, water heaters in tight basements, second-floor laundry stacks) get quoted by the job. Call with the appliance, the floor it's on, and the address.

Two washers and a dryer lined up in an open garage ready for appliance haul-away.

Common questions.

Why does refrigerant cost extra?

This is a federal rule as the refrigerant in fridges, freezers, dehumidifiers, and AC units has to be recovered before the unit can be disposed of. The transfer station handles that step under their EPA certification. Refrigerant items carry a small additional disposal fee.

Do I need to disconnect the appliance before pickup?

No. If you've already disconnected it, great. If not, that's fine too. Just empty out anything inside (food in a fridge, clothes in a dryer) before the visit.

Can you take a hot tub?

Yes, hot tubs are doable. The question is almost always access: is it on a deck, is it above ground, can it come out a gate, is it drained. Send a couple of photos with the call so we can talk through whether it comes out whole or has to be cut down on site.

Do you take mattresses?

Yes. The disposal cost gets built into the quote when you book. Tell us how many you've got when you call.

What about small appliances like microwaves?

Yes. Microwaves, toaster ovens, coffee makers, vacuums, and similar small appliances are fine. If you've got a handful of those plus a bigger item, group them all on the same visit and we'll quote it as one job.
