Hooksett is a Merrimack County town immediately north of Manchester, on I-93 and the Merrimack River. We cover it from our Fremont yard.
All four roll-off sizes plus full-service junk removal — out of the Fremont yard.
Hooksett is a town of about 14,000 with a long commercial strip on Route 3A (Hooksett Road), an industrial area near the river, and most of the residential land spread out in newer subdivisions to the east and west. The I-93 service plazas sit right in the middle of town, and the river splits Hooksett north to south.
From our Fremont yard, Hooksett is about 28 miles west.
All four roll-off sizes are available in Hooksett: 10-yard for small projects and tight driveways, 15 for medium jobs, 20 for full-house cleanouts and roof tear-offs, and 30 for contractor and demo work. We also do full-service junk removal for cleanouts where you'd rather we handle the loading.
Newer Hooksett subdivisions have plenty of driveway room. Some of the older streets near Route 3A and the river are tighter. Send a photo if you're not sure what'll fit.
Hooksett is split by the Merrimack River and threaded by I-93, Route 3, and Route 28, with the village sitting around the dam where the river runs through. The Hooksett tolls and rest stop sit right in the middle of town, and the truck stop area near the highway carries the through commercial traffic. The commercial strip along Route 3A holds most of the older homes nearby, while the residential side is spread out in newer subdivisions to the east and west. Driveways in the newer subdivisions are roomy with long approaches, while the older homes near Route 3A and the riverfront can be tighter. If you're on one of those tight spots, send a quick photo when you call and we'll plan placement so the box and the truck have the room they need.
Common dumpster and junk-removal jobs in Hooksett include kitchen and bath remodels, garage and basement cleanouts, and roof tear-offs. Estate cleanouts come up when ownership changes hands, especially on the older homes near the river and Route 3A. Shed, deck, and above-ground pool demos come up through the warmer months. For larger contractor jobs, like additions, renovations, or new builds in the newer subdivisions, a 20-yard parked for the week is usually the right size. We also get single-item pickup calls, things like an old fridge, a water heater, or a hot-tub demo, where the junk-removal crew can load it up and haul it off without needing a full container on site.
Hooksett is a longer reach from our Fremont yard than the towns right next door, but we run the same four sizes. For a garage or basement cleanout, the 10 or 15-yard is usually the right size. For a full-house cleanout, a kitchen tear-out, or a roof on an average Hooksett home, the 20-yard tends to be the right call. The 30-yard is mostly for whole-house gut jobs, big additions, or roofs with multiple layers. If you're not sure, tell us what's coming out and we'll point you to the size that fits.
How long can I keep the dumpster? Standard rental is seven days. If you need an extra day or two, we can usually work that out. Anything longer and we'll need to talk about pickup timing so we can keep the box on the route.
Can you put the dumpster on the lawn? Usually yes. If you'd like boards under the wheels to protect the grass and the edge of the driveway, mention it when you call and we'll bring some.
Do you take appliances and old water heaters? Yes. Fridges and AC units have a small fee for the freon handling at the transfer station, and mattresses have a small per-item fee. What we can't take is wet paint, motor oil, asbestos, dirt or gravel, or organic wood and yard waste.
