Hudson is a Hillsborough County town across the Merrimack River from Nashua, along Route 3A and Route 102. We cover it from our Fremont yard.
All four roll-off sizes plus full-service junk removal — out of the Fremont yard.
Hudson is a town of about 25,000, mostly suburban, with a long commercial strip on Route 102 (Lowell Road), residential neighborhoods spreading out to the east, and the Merrimack River forming the western border. The town has grown a lot in the last few decades, and most of the housing is postwar and newer.
From our Fremont yard, Hudson is about 30 miles southwest.
All four roll-off sizes are available in Hudson: 10-yard for small projects and tight driveways, 15 for medium jobs, 20 for full-house cleanouts and roof tear-offs, and 30 for contractor and demo work. We also do full-service junk removal for cleanouts where you'd rather we handle the loading.
Newer Hudson subdivisions have plenty of driveway room. Some of the older streets near the river and the village area are tighter. Send a photo if you're not sure what size will fit.
Hudson sits across the Merrimack from Nashua, with Route 102 and Route 111 carrying most of the through traffic and the Nashua border defining the western edge. The residential subdivisions spread east into the wooded sections of town, and the area around Robinson Pond has a mix of older cottages and newer homes. Most of the housing is postwar and newer, with roomy driveways and good approaches for the truck. Older streets near the river and the village can tighten up, especially where homes sit close to the road and parking is on-street. If you're on one of those tighter spots, send a photo when you call so we can plan placement and a delivery window that keeps the truck out of the local traffic.
Common dumpster and junk-removal jobs in Hudson include kitchen and bath remodels, garage and basement cleanouts, and roof tear-offs. Estate cleanouts come up when ownership changes hands, especially on the older homes near the river and the village. Shed, deck, and above-ground pool demos come up through the warmer months. For larger contractor jobs, like additions, renovations, or new builds in the eastern subdivisions, a 20-yard parked for the week is usually the right size. We also get single-item pickup calls, things like an old fridge, a water heater, a couch the new sectional won't fit past, or a hot-tub demo, where a full container would be more than the job needs.
Hudson is a longer drive from our Fremont yard than the Seacoast towns just east of us, but we run the same four sizes. For a garage or basement cleanout, the 10 or 15-yard is usually the right size. For a full-house cleanout or a roof tear-off on an average Hudson home, the 20-yard tends to be the right call. The 30-yard is mostly for whole-house gut jobs, big additions, or roofs with a lot of layers. If you're not sure, tell us what's coming out and we'll point you to the size that fits.
How long can I keep the dumpster? Standard rental is seven days. If you need an extra day or two, we can usually work that out. Anything longer and we'll need to talk about pickup timing so we can keep the box on the route.
Can you put the dumpster on the lawn? Usually yes. If you'd like boards under the wheels to protect the grass and the edge of the driveway, mention it when you call and we'll bring some.
Do you cover Nashua and Litchfield too? Yes, both, along with the rest of the Merrimack corridor on that side. If you've got a project happening across the river or up in Litchfield, we can run a box there too.
