North Andover is one of our Massachusetts towns across the NH border, about 40 minutes south of our Fremont yard via Route 125 and 114. The town has a mix of old mill-village streets and newer suburban subdivisions.

North Andover is an Essex County town of about 32,000 people, sitting along the Merrimack River across from Lawrence. The old mill-village area near the Old Center still has its 1800s housing stock and brick textile buildings, while the rest of the town runs through newer suburban subdivisions, golf courses, and rural-residential streets. Merrimack College sits in town and brings its own slice of student and faculty housing.
From Fremont it's about 25 miles south, roughly 40 minutes on Route 125 down to Route 114. North Andover covers older mill-village homes and newer cul-de-sac developments on the south side.
All four roll-off sizes are available: 10-yard for tight driveways and single-room projects, 15 for medium jobs, 20 for full-house cleanouts and roof tear-offs, and 30 for contractor and demo work. Plus full-service junk removal for jobs where you'd rather have us handle the loading.
The older mill-village streets near the river have tighter access and shorter driveways. The 10 or 15 typically works there. Newer subdivisions on the south end usually have plenty of room. Send us a photo of the spot if you're not sure what'll fit.
The Old Center sits in the middle of North Andover, with the common, the older town buildings, and the streets that built up around the mill village near Cochichewick Brook. Lake Cochichewick takes up a big chunk of the east side of town, with year-round homes wrapped around the shoreline and the watershed land that protects the drinking supply. Stevens Pond and the conservation land around it sit nearby. Merrimack College and the housing that built up around it sit on the south side off Andover Street. The newer subdivisions, golf courses, and rural-residential streets stretch out toward the Boxford and Andover lines. Route 114 cuts across the middle of town and Andover Street runs north-south through the residential side. I-495 wraps the west edge for the run back up to the NH border.
Common dumpster and junk-removal jobs in North Andover include full-house cleanouts when a property changes hands, garage and basement cleanouts after years of accumulation, kitchen and bathroom renovations in the older homes near the Old Center, and roof tear-offs across the residential streets. Lake-area properties around Lake Cochichewick sometimes call in for cleanouts when a place changes hands. Single-item pickups come in too, for old fridges, water heaters, washers and dryers, or a hot tub someone wants gone. Estate cleanouts come up when a longtime owner is moving or a place is going on the market. Shed, deck, and above-ground pool demos come up through the warmer months.
North Andover is one of the longer drives from our Fremont yard, but the four sizes run the same out there. For a bathroom remodel or a single-room cleanout, a 10-yard usually does the job and fits the tighter mill-village driveways. A 15-yard is the right call for a kitchen or a mid-size cleanout. Full-house cleanouts, roof tear-offs on a typical two-story, and most renovations work best in a 20-yard, and the newer subdivisions have plenty of room for one. For additions, larger demos, or contractor jobs running heavier debris, the 30-yard is the safer call.
Can you get a roll-off into a tight Lake Cochichewick driveway? Usually a 10 or 15 works on the lake-side roads when the spot is on the shorter side. Anything bigger needs a careful look. Send us a photo before you book and we'll tell you what fits.
How long can I keep the dumpster? Standard rental is seven days. If you need an extra day or two, we can usually work that out. Anything longer and we'll need to talk about pickup timing so we can keep the box on the route.
Do you take appliances and old water heaters? Yes. Fridges and AC units have a small fee for the freon handling at the transfer station, and mattresses have a small per-item fee. What we can't take is wet paint, motor oil, asbestos, dirt or gravel, or organic wood and yard waste.
