Plaistow sits right on the Massachusetts border with the Route 125 commercial strip running through. We cover it from our Fremont yard, about 20 minutes away.
All four roll-off sizes plus full-service junk removal — out of the Fremont yard.
Plaistow's main road is Route 125, lined with retail and restaurants and a lot of the day-to-day commercial traffic that comes through this stretch. Once you get off the highway it opens up into residential neighborhoods. The town sits right on the MA line, which gives it a different feel from the towns further inland.
From our Fremont yard, Plaistow is about 12 miles south, roughly a 20-minute drive.
All four roll-off sizes are available in Plaistow: 10-yard for small projects, 15 for mid-size work, 20 for full-house cleanouts and roof tear-offs, and 30 for contractor and demo jobs. We also do full-service junk removal when you'd rather we did the loading.
Most Plaistow driveways have room for a 20-yard without trouble. If you're on a narrower lot, send a photo and we'll figure out placement.
NH-125 is the main spine through Plaistow and carries most of the commercial and through-traffic, with retail and restaurants lining the corridor and a steady flow of cross-border traffic from Haverhill, Massachusetts. NH-121A ties Plaistow over to Hampstead and Atkinson to the west. The older sections of town sit closer to the town hall and the older village center, and the residential streets open up into newer subdivisions stretching out toward the Newton and Atkinson lines. The Massachusetts border runs along the south side of town.
Common Plaistow calls include full-house cleanouts when a property is going on the market, kitchen and bathroom remodels across the older residential stock, garage and basement cleanouts after years of accumulation, and roof tear-offs on the two-story homes that fill most of the residential streets. We also see single-item pickups for things like a hot tub on a back deck, a fridge that finally quit, or a water heater that needs to be hauled. Shed, deck, and above-ground pool demos come up through the warmer months, and estate cleanouts come up too, usually slotted around a 20-yard parked on the driveway for the week.
For a bathroom remodel or a small cleanout, a 10-yard usually does the job. A 15-yard handles kitchen jobs and mid-size cleanouts. For full-house cleanouts, roof tear-offs on a typical two-story, and most renovation work, the 20-yard is the workhorse and fits most Plaistow driveways without trouble. The 30-yard is the call for additions, larger demos, or contractor jobs with heavier debris loads, and the newer subdivisions toward the Newton and Atkinson lines have room for one.
How long can I keep the dumpster? Standard rental is seven days. We can usually accommodate an extra day or two. Anything longer and we'll need to talk pickup timing so we can keep the box on the route.
Can you put the dumpster on the lawn? Usually yes. We bring boards to set under the wheels so the grass and the edge of the driveway don't get torn up. Tell us when you call.
What size do I need for a typical Plaistow roof tear-off? A 20-yard handles most single-layer asphalt shingle tear-offs on a typical two-story. Larger roofs or multi-layer tear-offs are better in a 30 so you're not paying for a second swap.
Do you take appliances and old hot tubs? Yes. Fridges, AC units, water heaters, washers, dryers, and mattresses all go in, and we can demo and haul a hot tub on the same visit either as a junk removal job or alongside a dumpster on site.
