Pittsfield is a small mill town on the Suncook River and home to the Pittsfield Drive-In Theatre, one of the last drive-ins in New Hampshire. We cover it from our Fremont yard.
All four roll-off sizes plus full-service junk removal — out of the Fremont yard.
Pittsfield grew up around the mills on the Suncook River and still has that small mill-town character. The Pittsfield Drive-In Theatre is one of the few remaining drive-ins in the state and a long-running local institution.
From Fremont, Pittsfield is about 40 miles north, roughly an hour on a clear day.
All four roll-off sizes are available in Pittsfield: 10-yard for small projects, 15 for mid-size work, 20 for full-house cleanouts and roof tear-offs, and 30 for contractor and demo jobs. We also do full-service junk removal when you'd rather we did the loading.
Most Pittsfield driveways have room for any size we run. If you have a tight spot or you're near the river, send a photo and we'll plan placement.
Pittsfield is shaped by the Suncook River running through the middle and Route 28 and Route 107 carrying most of the through traffic. The downtown village holds the older mill housing and tighter streets close to the river, with Catamount Mountain sitting as a recognizable landmark to the north. Outside the village, the rest of the town is rural-residential lots with long driveways and woods between homes. Most placements out on the rural lots are straightforward with plenty of approach room for any size we run. The older mill housing close to the river and the downtown blocks can tighten up. If you've got a tight spot or you're on a shared drive, send a quick photo when you call and we'll plan placement so the truck has room to swing in and out.
Common dumpster and junk-removal jobs in Pittsfield include garage and basement cleanouts, full-house cleanouts, and roof tear-offs. Estate cleanouts come up when ownership changes hands, especially on the older mill housing and the homes that have been in families for a while. Shed, deck, and above-ground pool demos come up through the warmer months. For larger contractor jobs, like additions, renovations, or new builds out on the rural lots, a 20-yard parked for the week is usually the right size. We also get single-item pickup calls, things like an old fridge, a water heater, or a hot-tub demo, where a full container would be more than the job needs.
Pittsfield is one of our longer NH stops from the Fremont yard, but we run the same four sizes. For a garage or basement cleanout, the 10 or 15-yard is usually the right size. For a full-house cleanout or a roof tear-off on an average Pittsfield home, the 20-yard tends to be the right call. The 30-yard is mostly for whole-house gut jobs, big additions, or roofs with a lot of layers. If you're not sure, tell us what's coming out and we'll point you to the size that fits.
How long can I keep the dumpster? Standard rental is seven days. If you need an extra day or two, we can usually work that out. Anything longer and we'll need to talk about pickup timing so we can keep the box on the route.
Can you put the dumpster on the lawn? Usually yes. If you'd like boards under the wheels to protect the grass and the edge of the driveway, mention it when you call and we'll bring some.
Do you take appliances and old water heaters? Yes. Fridges and AC units have a small fee for the freon handling at the transfer station, and mattresses have a small per-item fee. What we can't take is wet paint, motor oil, asbestos, dirt or gravel, or organic wood and yard waste.
