Northwood is the antiques capital of the state, with the long stretch of shops along Route 4 known as Antique Alley. The town sits between Concord and the Seacoast. We cover it from our Fremont yard.
All four roll-off sizes plus full-service junk removal — out of the Fremont yard.
Northwood is a small town along Route 4, sometimes called the Antiques Capital of New Hampshire because of the run of antique shops that line Antique Alley through the middle of town. Outside that commercial stretch, Northwood is mostly woods and rural residential, sitting roughly halfway between Concord and the Seacoast.
From our Fremont yard, Northwood is about 30 miles north, roughly a 45-minute drive.
All four roll-off sizes are available in Northwood: 10-yard for small projects, 15 for medium work, 20 for full-house cleanouts, and 30 for contractor and demo jobs. We also handle full-service junk removal if you'd rather we did the loading.
Most Northwood driveways have room for any size we run. Send us a photo if you've got a tight spot and we'll figure out placement.
Northwood runs along Route 4, with the antique-row commercial stretch lining the middle of town and Route 202 cutting south. Northwood Lake sits along the route and Pleasant Lake is on the eastern side, both with cottage and year-round housing wrapped around them. Outside the commercial strip, the town is mostly woods and rural-residential, with long driveways tucked off the main roads and small farms scattered through the back roads. The lake-area access roads can be narrower than the main routes, with sandy or seasonal stretches in spots. Most of the housing along Route 4 has standard driveways with plenty of room for any size we run. A photo of the spot helps before delivery, especially on any of the lake-area drops where the access road shapes what'll fit.
Common dumpster and junk-removal jobs in Northwood include cottage cleanouts when a lake property changes hands, roof tear-offs on the residential housing, and full-house cleanouts. The camps around Northwood Lake and Pleasant Lake sometimes call in for seasonal cleanouts or interior renovations. Garage, basement, and barn cleanouts come up across the rural-residential housing. Estate cleanouts come up too. Shed, deck, and above-ground pool demos come up through the warmer months, along with hot tubs and old campers. For larger contractor jobs, like additions, renovations, or new builds, a 20-yard parked for the week is usually the right size, and a 30 if the project is a full gut.
Northwood is one of our longer NH stops from the Fremont yard, but the four sizes run the same. For a single room or a garage corner, the 10-yard is usually the right size. For a roof on an average house or a full garage, the 15 or 20 is the better pick. Full house cleanouts where every room is going usually call for the 20-yard, and big demo jobs or full contractor renovations call for the 30. On the lake-cottage side, the 10 or 15 is usually the size that fits the access road.
Can you get a roll-off down a lake-area access road? Depends on the road. Some of the Northwood Lake and Pleasant Lake camp roads are narrow, sandy, or have low tree branches. Send us a photo of the road and the drop spot and we'll tell you what'll fit. If the road is too tight, junk removal where we bring the truck and load it ourselves can be the better option.
Can you put the dumpster on the lawn? Usually yes. If you'd like boards under the wheels, mention it when you call and we'll bring some. The 10 and 15 sit easier on grass than the bigger sizes.
How long can I keep the dumpster? Standard rental is seven days. If you need it longer, let us know when you book and we'll work it out.
