Barnstead is a rural town in Belknap County with two of the local water features being Crystal Lake and Lougee Pond. Outside of the lakes the town is mostly woods and quiet residential roads.
From Fremont, Barnstead is about 42 miles north, roughly an hour on a clear day.
All four roll-off sizes are available in Barnstead: 10-yard for small projects, 15 for mid-size work, 20 for full-house cleanouts and roof tear-offs, and 30 for contractor and demo jobs. We also do full-service junk removal when you'd rather we did the loading.
Most Barnstead driveways have plenty of room for any size we run. If you have a tight spot send a photo and we'll plan placement.
Barnstead is spread out, with Route 28 running north from Pittsfield up toward Alton and Route 126 cutting across the eastern side of town. The center village sits along Route 28 with the older Cape and Colonial stock, while a lot of the residential lots are tucked back on rural roads in the woods. The lake-area mix is the other piece of town: Lower Suncook Lake, Upper Suncook Lake, Half Moon Lake, and Locke Lake all have cottage and year-round housing wrapped around them. Driveways out there can be long, narrow, or steep depending on when the cottage was built, and a few of the access roads off the main routes are dirt or seasonal. None of that is a problem for placement on a normal driveway, but it's worth mentioning when you call so we can plan the drop.
Common dumpster and junk-removal jobs in Barnstead include roof tear-offs on the older residential housing, garage and basement cleanouts, and full house cleanouts when a property changes hands. The lake-area properties around Lower Suncook and Locke Lake sometimes call in for cleanouts when a place changes hands or a seasonal cottage gets cleared out for a renovation. Estate cleanouts come up too. Shed, deck, and above-ground pool demos come up through the warmer months, along with old hot tubs and the occasional camper that's been sitting in the yard. For larger contractor jobs, like additions, renovations, or new builds, a 20-yard parked for the week is usually the right size, and a 30-yard if the project is a full gut or a bigger demo.
Barnstead is one of our longer reaches from the Fremont yard. We don't run up that way every week, but the four sizes work the same. For a single room or a garage corner, the 10-yard is usually the right size. For a roof on an average house or a full garage, the 15 or 20 is the better pick. Full house cleanouts where every room is going usually call for a 20-yard, and big demo jobs or full contractor renovations call for the 30. If you're not sure which size fits your job, send a photo of what's coming out and we'll point you at the one that won't leave you paying for empty space.
Do you really come out this far? Yes. We're based in Fremont and most of our work is closer in, but we run up to Barnstead when the job's booked. The drive time doesn't change the rental price.
Can you get a roll-off down a lake-area access road? Depends on the road. Some of the cottage-access roads around the Suncook Lakes and Locke Lake are narrow, sandy, or have low tree branches. Send us a photo of the road and the drop spot and we'll tell you what'll fit. If the road is too tight, junk removal where we bring the truck and load it ourselves can be the better option.
How long can I keep the dumpster? Standard rental is seven days. If you need it longer, let us know when you book and we'll work it out.
