Greenland is a small residential town between Portsmouth and Stratham. We cover it from our Fremont yard, about 30 minutes east.
All four roll-off sizes plus full-service junk removal — out of the Fremont yard.
Greenland is a quiet residential town that sits between Portsmouth and Stratham, just inland of the working coast. The town center is small, and the rest of Greenland is single-family homes and back roads.
From Fremont, Greenland is about 20 miles east, roughly a 30-minute drive.
All four roll-off sizes are available in Greenland: 10-yard for small projects, 15 for mid-size work, 20 for full-house cleanouts and roof tear-offs, and 30 for contractor and demo jobs. We also do full-service junk removal when you'd rather we did the loading.
Most Greenland driveways have room for any size we run. Send us a photo if you have a tight spot.
Most of our Greenland stops are off Route 101 and Route 33, with deliveries running into the residential streets that branch off them. The small village center has a tighter, older feel, with homes on closer lots around it. The roads that work toward Great Bay on the north side of town have a quieter, more residential pattern, with some longer driveways that back up toward the shoreline. The Winnicut River runs through the middle of town, and the streets near it have a mix of older and newer homes. Toward the Stratham and Portsmouth lines, the lots open up a little and the driveways get longer. Driveways are usually straightforward across town. If you're working close to a stone wall or a treeline, let us know when you call.
Common dumpster and junk-removal jobs in Greenland include roof tear-offs, garage and basement cleanouts, kitchen and bath remodels, and the usual single-item appliance pickups. Estate cleanouts come up when ownership changes hands, especially around the older homes near the village center. Shed, deck, and above-ground pool demos come up through the warmer months once people start clearing back yards. For larger contractor jobs, like additions, renovations, or new builds, a 20-yard parked for the week is usually the right size. Junk removal calls come in for hot tubs, old playsets, and workshop cleanouts where the homeowner would rather not load a container themselves.
Greenland is a regular reach for us out of the Fremont yard. For a single room cleanout or a small bath remodel, a 10-yard is usually the right size. A 15-yard handles a kitchen tear-out or a mid-sized garage clearout. The 20-yard is the most common size we drop in Greenland, since it covers full-house cleanouts and most residential roof tear-offs. The 30-yard comes out for new construction and larger demo work. If you're on a tighter older street near the village center, the 10-yard or 15-yard tends to sit better.
How long can I keep the dumpster? Standard rental is seven days. If you need an extra day or two, we can usually work that out. Anything longer and we'll need to talk about pickup timing so we can keep the box on the route.
Can you put the dumpster on the lawn? Usually yes. If you'd like boards under the wheels to protect the grass and the edge of the driveway, mention it when you call and we'll bring some.
How far ahead should I book? Usually the next day works. Mondays book up fastest since weekend orders come in then, so if you're aiming for a Monday delivery it helps to call by Friday.
