Barrington is a Strafford County town between Northwood and Dover, at the crossing of Route 9 and Route 125. We cover it from our Fremont yard.
All four roll-off sizes plus full-service junk removal — out of the Fremont yard.
Barrington is a town of about 9,000, spread out across a lot of land with no real downtown, just a few small commercial clusters at the major intersections. The town has several lakes and ponds, plenty of wooded back roads, and most of the housing is single-family on larger lots.
From our Fremont yard, Barrington is about 22 miles north.
All four roll-off sizes are available in Barrington: 10-yard for small projects and tight driveways, 15 for medium jobs, 20 for full-house cleanouts and roof tear-offs, and 30 for contractor and demo work. We also do full-service junk removal for cleanouts where you'd rather we handle the loading.
Most Barrington driveways are long with plenty of room for the bigger sizes. If you're on one of the camp roads near the lakes, those can be tighter and softer. Send a photo if you're not sure what'll fit.
Barrington has a rural-residential feel with Route 9 cutting across the middle from Northwood toward Dover and Route 125 running north-south. There isn't a real downtown, just the commercial clusters where the major roads meet. The housing is mostly single-family on bigger wooded lots, with the older farmhouse and Cape stock on the established roads and newer builds tucked back on the side streets. Swains Lake and Stonehouse Pond are the two main water features, with cottage and year-round housing wrapped around them. The Strafford and Northwood lines bring more of the same rural roads, with long driveways and wooded edges. Most Barrington driveways have room to spare, and the rare tight spot is usually a lake-area access road that can be narrower than the rest of town.
Common dumpster and junk-removal jobs in Barrington include roof tear-offs on the older residential housing, full-house cleanouts when a property changes hands, and garage and basement cleanouts when somebody's catching up after years of storage. The lake-area properties around Swains Lake and Stonehouse Pond sometimes call in for cleanouts when a cottage changes hands or gets renovated. Estate cleanouts come up too. Shed, deck, and above-ground pool demos come up through the warmer months, along with hot tubs and the occasional old camper. For larger contractor jobs, like additions, renovations, or new builds, a 20-yard parked for the week is usually the right size, and a 30 if the project is a full gut.
Barrington is one of our longer NH stops from the Fremont yard, but the four sizes run the same. For a single room or a garage corner, the 10-yard is usually the right size. For a roof on an average house or a full garage, the 15 or 20 is the better pick. Full house cleanouts where every room is going usually call for the 20-yard, and big demo jobs or full contractor renovations call for the 30. If you're not sure which size fits the job, send a photo of what's coming out and we'll point you at the one that won't leave you paying for empty space.
Can you put the dumpster on the lawn? Usually yes. If you'd like boards under the wheels, mention it when you call and we'll bring some. The 10 and 15 sit easier on grass than the bigger sizes.
Can you get a roll-off down a lake-area access road? Depends on the road. Some of the Swains Lake and Stonehouse Pond camp roads are narrow, sandy, or have low tree branches. Send us a photo of the access road and the drop spot and we'll tell you what'll fit. If the road is too tight, junk removal where we bring the truck and load it ourselves can be the better option.
