Windham sits between Derry and Salem along Route 111, with Cobbetts Pond and a lot of newer residential development through town. We cover it from our Fremont yard.
All four roll-off sizes plus full-service junk removal — out of the Fremont yard.
Windham is a suburb that's grown a lot over the years, with newer subdivisions filling in alongside the older neighborhoods. Cobbetts Pond is one of the local landmarks, and Route 111 acts as the main commercial spine through town.
From Fremont, Windham is about 22 miles southwest, roughly 35 minutes.
All four roll-off sizes are available in Windham: 10-yard for small projects, 15 for mid-size work, 20 for full-house cleanouts and roof tear-offs, and 30 for contractor and demo jobs. We also do full-service junk removal when you'd rather we did the loading.
Newer Windham subdivisions usually have plenty of room for a 20 or 30. Older streets near the pond can be tighter. Send us a photo and we'll plan it.
I-93 cuts through the west side of Windham with the main exit feeding the commercial corridor. NH-111 is the main east-west spine through town and ties Windham over to Hampstead to the east and toward Hudson and Nashua to the west. NH-28 and I-93 carry the traffic south toward Salem. Range Road runs north to south through the middle of town. Cobbetts Pond sits on the east side, with older lake-area cottages and newer custom homes wrapped around it. The rest of Windham is largely residential with a mix of newer subdivisions, custom builds on larger lots, and pockets of older housing. The Windham Junction rail trail cuts through town for anyone walking or biking.
Common Windham calls include full-house cleanouts, kitchen and bathroom renovations on the older housing stock, and roof tear-offs across the residential neighborhoods. Newer subdivisions and custom-home driveways have room for the larger sizes that contractor jobs, additions, and shed and above-ground pool demos usually need. We also see single-item pickups for things like an old hot tub on the back deck, a fridge that needs to be hauled, or a water heater that finally quit. Estate cleanouts come up too, often handled with a 20-yard parked on the driveway for a week. Lake-area properties around Cobbetts Pond sometimes call in for one-off cleanouts when a place changes hands or after a long-deferred basement clear-out.
For a bathroom remodel or a small cleanout, a 10-yard usually does the job. A 15-yard handles kitchen jobs and mid-size cleanouts. For full-house cleanouts, roof tear-offs on a typical two-story, and most renovation work, the 20-yard is the workhorse. The newer Windham subdivisions and custom-home driveways have plenty of room for a 30-yard, which is the right call for additions, larger demos, or contractor jobs with heavier debris loads.
Can you get a roll-off down to a lake-area driveway? Often yes, but it depends on the road. Some of the older Cobbetts Pond access roads are narrow with sharp turns. If a roll-off truck can't get in, full-service junk removal with our smaller dump trailer is usually the workable alternative.
Can you put the dumpster on the lawn? Usually yes. We bring boards to set under the wheels so the grass doesn't get torn up. Mention it when you call.
What size do I need for a typical Windham roof tear-off? A 20-yard handles most single-layer asphalt shingle tear-offs on a typical two-story. Larger or multi-layered roofs are better in a 30.
Do you take appliances and old hot tubs? Yes. Fridges, AC units, water heaters, washers, dryers, and mattresses all go in, and we can demo and haul a hot tub on the same visit either as a junk removal job or alongside a dumpster on site.
