South Hamilton is the village center of Hamilton, with the commuter rail stop, a small downtown along Bay Road, and the bulk of the town's older residential neighborhoods. The surrounding area is open horse country, with the Myopia Hunt Club and large estates nearby.
From our Fremont yard, South Hamilton is about 28 miles southeast.
All four roll-off sizes are available in South Hamilton: 10-yard for small projects and tight driveways, 15 for medium jobs, 20 for full-house cleanouts and roof tear-offs, and 30 for contractor and demo work. We also do full-service junk removal for cleanouts where you'd rather we handle the loading.
Streets close to the village center are tighter, with shorter driveways. Out on the estate roads there's plenty of room for the bigger sizes. Send a photo if you're not sure what'll fit.
South Hamilton sits along Bay Road as the village center of Hamilton, with the commuter rail stop and the older residential streets clustered near the downtown. Asbury Grove and the Pingree School are recognizable local landmarks. The streets close to the village have shorter driveways, tighter setbacks, and stone walls at the curb. Pulling out from the village, the rural-residential streets and the country-club area open up considerably, with longer driveways, open fields, and outbuildings on a lot of the lots. Access in the village asks for a 10 or 15, and the estate roads can usually take a 20 or 30. A photo of the driveway helps us pick the size and the spot.
Common dumpster and junk-removal jobs in South Hamilton include garage and basement cleanouts, kitchen and bath remodel debris in the older village homes, roof tear-offs, and the kind of full-house cleanout that fills a 20 in a hurry. Estate cleanouts come up when ownership changes hands on the older estates and farmhouses, and we'll bring a 20 or send a junk-removal crew depending on what's in the house. Shed, deck, and above-ground pool demos come up through the warmer months. For larger contractor jobs, like additions, renovations, or new builds, a 20-yard parked for the week is usually the right size.
South Hamilton is one of our longer reaches from the Fremont yard. We don't run down that way every week, but the four sizes work the same. For a garage or a smaller basement, the 10 usually handles it. A full basement, an average roof tear-off, or a kitchen plus a bath usually lands in the 15-to-20 range. The 30 is best for additions, larger demo, and contractor projects with room on site. On the village streets near Bay Road, the 10 or 15 is usually the better fit.
Do you really come out this far? Yes. South Hamilton is one of our Massachusetts service-area towns. The Fremont yard is about 28 miles down, so it's a longer haul than our NH towns, but we run it the same way.
Can you put the dumpster on a gravel driveway? Usually yes. If you're worried about the surface, send us a photo and we'll talk through placement before delivery.
Do you cover Hamilton too? Yes. South Hamilton is a village inside Hamilton, and we cover the rest of Hamilton from the same yard.
