North Reading sits in Middlesex County along I-93 and Route 28, on the Essex County line. We cover it from our Fremont yard.
All four roll-off sizes plus full-service junk removal — out of the Fremont yard.
North Reading is a town of about 15,000 with a traditional town common, a long commercial strip along Route 28, and mostly residential neighborhoods filling the rest. The Ipswich River winds through the eastern side of town, and the I-93 interchange anchors the southwest corner.
From our Fremont yard, North Reading is about 28 miles south.
All four roll-off sizes are available in North Reading: 10-yard for small projects and tight driveways, 15 for medium jobs, 20 for full-house cleanouts and roof tear-offs, and 30 for contractor and demo work. We also do full-service junk removal for cleanouts where you'd rather we handle the loading.
Newer subdivisions have plenty of driveway room. Some of the older streets near the common are tighter. If you're not sure what size will fit, send us a photo and we'll tell you.
North Reading runs along Route 28 and Route 62, with the traditional town common anchoring the village center and the I-93 interchange in the southwest corner. The older village streets near the common have shorter driveways, mature trees, and tighter setbacks. The residential subdivisions farther out tend to be wider, with longer driveways and more room to place a roll-off. The rural pockets near the Ipswich River on the eastern side round out the picture. Access is usually the biggest factor in which size to recommend: the older village blocks usually want the smaller sizes, and the newer subdivisions can take a 20 or 30.
Common dumpster and junk-removal jobs in North Reading include garage and basement cleanouts, kitchen and bath remodel debris, roof tear-offs, and the kind of full-house cleanout that fills a 20 in a hurry. Estate cleanouts come up when ownership changes hands on the older homes near the common, and we'll bring a 20 or send a junk-removal crew depending on the volume. Shed, deck, and above-ground pool demos come up through the warmer months. For larger contractor jobs, like additions, renovations, or new builds, a 20-yard parked for the week is usually the right size. Single-item pickups are fine too.
North Reading is a longer drive from our Fremont yard than our NH towns, but we run the same four sizes across the line. For a garage or a smaller basement, the 10 usually handles it. A full basement, an average roof tear-off, or a kitchen plus a bath usually lands in the 15-to-20 range. The 30 is best for additions, larger demo, and contractor projects with room on site. On the older streets near the common, the 10 or 15 is usually the better fit.
Do you really come out this far? Yes. North Reading is one of our Massachusetts service-area towns. The Fremont yard is about 28 miles down, so it's a longer haul than our NH towns, but we run it the same way.
Can you put the dumpster on the lawn? Usually yes. If you'd like boards under the wheels, mention it when you call and we'll bring some.
How long can I keep the dumpster? Standard rental is about a week. If you need it longer, let us know when you book and we'll work it out.
