Manchester-by-the-Sea is a town of about 5,400, with a compact harbor village, the long crescent of Singing Beach, and a mix of older homes near the water and larger estates set back in the woods. Route 127 is the main road through, and the MBTA commuter rail stops at the village center.
From our Fremont yard, Manchester-by-the-Sea is about 35 miles southeast.

Manchester-by-the-Sea runs along Route 127, with Singing Beach, the harbor, and the compact village center anchoring most of the recognizable parts of town. The older summer-cottage stock near the harbor and the streets above it tends to be tighter, with shorter driveways, stone walls, and the rocky coast shaping the lot layouts. The wooded streets above Route 127 and the larger estates set back from the road open up, with longer driveways and more room to place a roll-off. Access is the main thing we plan around out there. The harbor village has narrow streets, and a photo of the driveway and where you'd like the dumpster set helps us pick the size before we head down.
Common dumpster and junk-removal jobs in Manchester-by-the-Sea include cottage cleanouts, kitchen and bath remodel debris in the older harbor-area homes, roof tear-offs, and the kind of full-house cleanout that fills a 15 or 20. Estate cleanouts come up when ownership changes hands on the older homes, and we'll bring a 20 or run a junk-removal crew depending on what's in the house. Shed, deck, and above-ground pool demos come up through the warmer months. For larger contractor jobs, like additions, renovations, or new builds, a 20-yard parked for the week is usually the right size when the site has room.
Manchester-by-the-Sea is one of our longer reaches from the Fremont yard. We don't run down that way every week, but the four sizes work the same. For a cottage or a small basement, the 10 usually handles it. A full basement, a roof tear-off, or a kitchen plus a bath usually lands in the 15-to-20 range. The 30 is best for additions and contractor projects with room on site. On the tight harbor streets, the 10 or 15 is almost always the better call.
Do you really come out this far? Yes. Manchester-by-the-Sea is one of our Massachusetts service-area towns. The Fremont yard is about 35 miles up, so it's a longer haul than our NH towns, but we run it the same way.
Can you handle a beach cottage cleanout? Yes. We'll bring in a 10 or 15 if the driveway is tight, or send a junk-removal crew if it's easier to load it out by hand.
Can you put the dumpster on the lawn? Usually yes. If you'd like boards under the wheels, mention it when you call and we'll bring some.
