Litchfield is a Hillsborough County town along the Merrimack River, between Hudson and Manchester. We cover it from our Fremont yard.
All four roll-off sizes plus full-service junk removal — out of the Fremont yard.
Litchfield is a town of about 8,500 with a narrow strip of land along the east bank of the Merrimack River, mostly residential with some farmland and orchards left over from the town's agricultural past. Route 3A runs north-south through the middle, and there's no real downtown, just a small town center near the school complex.
From our Fremont yard, Litchfield is about 30 miles southwest.
All four roll-off sizes are available in Litchfield: 10-yard for small projects and tight driveways, 15 for medium jobs, 20 for full-house cleanouts and roof tear-offs, and 30 for contractor and demo work. We also do full-service junk removal for cleanouts where you'd rather we handle the loading.
Most Litchfield driveways have plenty of room for the bigger sizes. Some of the older streets near the river are tighter. Send a photo if you're not sure what'll fit.
Litchfield is a narrow strip along the east bank of the Merrimack River, with Route 3A running north-south through the middle. There's no real downtown, just a small town center near the school complex and the rest spread across rural-residential lots, cul-de-sac subdivisions, and the orchards and farmland left from the town's agricultural past. Most driveways have plenty of room for the bigger sizes, especially out in the cul-de-sac subdivisions where approaches are long and the lots are open. The older homes along the river and the small town center can tighten up, and a few of the rural lots have shared drives or odd angles. If you've got something tricky, send a quick photo when you call and we'll plan placement before the truck rolls.
Common dumpster and junk-removal jobs in Litchfield include garage and basement cleanouts, kitchen and bath remodels, and roof tear-offs. Estate cleanouts come up when ownership changes hands, especially on the older homes set back on the farmland and along the river. Shed, deck, and above-ground pool demos come up through the warmer months. For larger contractor jobs, like additions, renovations, or new builds on the larger Litchfield lots, a 20-yard parked for the week is usually the right size. We also get single-item pickup calls, things like an old fridge, a water heater, or a hot-tub demo, where a full container would be more than the job needs.
Litchfield is a longer drive from our Fremont yard than the Seacoast towns just east of us, but we run the same four sizes. For a garage or basement cleanout, the 10 or 15-yard is usually the right size. For a full-house cleanout or a roof tear-off on an average Litchfield home, the 20-yard tends to be the right call. The 30-yard is mostly for whole-house gut jobs, big additions, or roofs with a lot of layers. If you're not sure, tell us what's coming out and we'll point you to a size that fits.
How long can I keep the dumpster? Standard rental is seven days. If you need an extra day or two, we can usually work that out. Anything longer and we'll need to talk about pickup timing so we can keep the box on the route.
Can you put the dumpster on the lawn? Usually yes. If you'd like boards under the wheels to protect the grass and the edge of the driveway, mention it when you call and we'll bring some.
Do you cover Hudson and Merrimack too? Yes, both, along with the rest of the towns up and down the Merrimack corridor on that side. If you've got a project happening in either, we can run a box there.
