Byfield is a village in the town of Newbury, Massachusetts, just inland from the Plum Island marshes. We cover it from our Fremont yard.
All four roll-off sizes plus full-service junk removal — out of the Fremont yard.
Byfield is the inland village of Newbury, set along the Parker River with a small village center, a couple of old mills, and the Governor's Academy campus. The surrounding area is mostly residential and farmland, with the I-95 corridor on the western edge.
From our Fremont yard, Byfield is about 22 miles southeast.
All four roll-off sizes are available in Byfield: 10-yard for small projects and tight driveways, 15 for medium jobs, 20 for full-house cleanouts and roof tear-offs, and 30 for contractor and demo work. We also do full-service junk removal for cleanouts where you'd rather we handle the loading.
Some of the older homes near the village center have short driveways and stone walls right at the curb. The 10 or 15 is usually the right call there. Out on the farmland side of town there's plenty of room for the bigger sizes.
Byfield's village center sits along Central Street near the Parker River, with Route 1 running along the western edge and a mix of residential roads and farmland filling in around it. The Governor's Academy campus is a recognizable landmark, and the older homes around the village have stone walls, tight curb cuts, and shorter driveways. The streets that pull away from the village toward the farmland and the inland roads open up, with longer driveways and more room to place a dumpster. Access is the main thing to flag in Byfield, especially on the older village streets where a stone wall or a fence runs right up to the driveway. A photo of the driveway helps us pick the size and the placement before delivery.
Common dumpster and junk-removal jobs in Byfield include garage and basement cleanouts, kitchen and bath remodel debris, roof tear-offs on the older village houses, and the kind of farmstead cleanout where outbuildings get emptied. Estate cleanouts come up when ownership changes hands on the older homes, and we'll bring a 20 or send a junk-removal crew depending on what's in the house. Shed, deck, and above-ground pool demos come up through the warmer months. For larger contractor jobs, like additions, renovations, or new builds, a 20-yard parked for the week is usually the right size. Single-item pickups are fine too.
Byfield is a longer drive from our Fremont yard than our NH towns, but we run the same four sizes across the line. For a garage or a small basement, the 10 usually handles it. A full basement, a roof tear-off on an average house, or a kitchen plus a bath in one pass tends to land in the 15-to-20 range. The 30 is best for additions, larger demo, and contractor projects where there's room to drop it. On the village streets near the river, the 10 or 15 is usually a better fit than the bigger sizes.
Do you really come out this far? Yes. Byfield is one of our Massachusetts service-area towns. The Fremont yard is about 22 miles up, so it's a longer haul than our NH towns, but we run it the same way.
Can you put the dumpster on the lawn? Usually yes. If you'd like boards under the wheels, mention it when you call and we'll bring some.
Do you cover Newbury too? Yes. Byfield is a village inside Newbury, and we cover the rest of the area from the same yard.
