Bedford is a Hillsborough County town immediately southwest of Manchester, along the Merrimack River. We cover it from our Fremont yard.
All four roll-off sizes plus full-service junk removal — out of the Fremont yard.
Bedford is a town of about 23,000 with a mostly suburban feel, a long commercial stretch on Route 101 and South River Road, and a lot of newer subdivisions out in the wooded sections to the west. The Merrimack River forms the eastern border, and the Manchester city line is right at the edge of town.
From our Fremont yard, Bedford is about 30 miles west.
All four roll-off sizes are available in Bedford: 10-yard for small projects and tight driveways, 15 for medium jobs, 20 for full-house cleanouts and roof tear-offs, and 30 for contractor and demo work. We also do full-service junk removal for cleanouts where you'd rather we handle the loading.
Newer Bedford subdivisions have plenty of driveway room. Some of the older streets near the town center and along Route 101 are tighter. Send a photo if you're not sure what size will fit.
Bedford runs from the Merrimack River on the east edge out to the wooded sections on the west, with Route 101 and Route 114 doing most of the heavy lifting for through traffic. The South Bedford Road corridor and the area near the country club is where a lot of the higher-end residential sits, while the South River area and the streets near Wallace Pond have a mix of older homes and newer infill. Driveways out in the western subdivisions are roomy with long approaches, and most jobs there have plenty of space for any size we run. Closer to the commercial stretch along 101 and the older streets near the town line, things can tighten up. If you're unsure about your spot, send a quick photo when you call and we'll plan placement so the box sits clean and the truck has room to pull out.
Common dumpster and junk-removal jobs in Bedford include kitchen and bathroom remodels, garage and basement cleanouts, and roof tear-offs. Full-house cleanouts come up too, especially when a place goes on the market or ownership changes hands. Shed, deck, and above-ground pool demos come up through the warmer months. For larger contractor jobs, like additions, renovations, or new builds out in the wooded sections to the west, a 20-yard parked for the week is usually the right size. We also get single-item pickup calls in Bedford, things like an old hot tub, a couch the new one won't fit past, or a fridge from a kitchen swap, where junk removal makes more sense than a full container.
Bedford is a longer drive from our Fremont yard than the Seacoast towns just east of us, but we run the same four sizes. For a garage or basement cleanout, the 10 or 15-yard is usually the right size. For a full-house cleanout, a kitchen tear-out, or a roof on an average Bedford home, the 20-yard tends to be the right call. The 30-yard is mostly for whole-house gut jobs, big additions, or roofs with multiple layers on the larger homes. If you're not sure, tell us what's coming out and we'll point you to a size that fits the job.
How long can I keep the dumpster? Standard rental is seven days. If you need an extra day or two, we can usually work that out. Anything longer and we'll need to talk about pickup timing so we can keep the box on the route.
Can you put the dumpster on the lawn? Usually yes. If you'd like boards under the wheels to protect the grass and the edge of the driveway, mention it when you call and we'll bring some.
How far ahead should I book? Usually the next day works. Mondays book up fastest since weekend orders come in then, so if you're aiming for a Monday delivery it helps to call by Friday.
